I am an ethically responsible data scientist and researcher who understands that data provides the key to solving complex business, human, and social problems. I am a critical thinker with adaptive research skills stemming from an extensive background in applied mathematics and philosophy, making me an effective, engaged communicator and collaborative, open-minded data analyst. My work seeks to solve multi-faceted modern problems by creatively harnessing human ingenuity, cutting edge data technologies, and rigorous teamwork practices.
I explore datasets looking for important trends that I can then capture in robust and pedagogically engaging models, diagrams, and plots. I am interested most of all in discovering ways to improve people's lives. Thus I choose projects by their potential for improving the human condition. For example, I have worked on modeling disease projections and on charting religious and linguistic demographies of the world. Find links to these projects and more below.
